Law Makers or Law Breakers?

In response to an oral question raised by JVP  MP Bimal Ratnayake in the house, Deputy Minister of the National Politics and Economic affairs Niroshan Perera informed Parliament yesterday, that the State residence had been  given to 38 Ministers and others from the housing complex while four people  have  been  given houses at summit flats.

Official residence have been given  to  Former President Mahinda Rajapaksha, Chandrika Kumartunga , former Prime Minister   Ratnasiri Wickramanayake  and former first lady Hema Premadasa.  Former MP  V.Anandasangaree too has been  given  a residence.

Legal action has been taken against former MPs Chandana Suriyaarachchi and Premlal Jeyasekara for not handing over their official residences.
