CID discovered that former Western Provincial DIG Anura Senanayake, who was in remand in connection with the Thajudeen murder case was instrumental in hiding evidences in connection with 2 youths abducted at Wellawatte and disappeared. Colombo Additional Magistrate granted permission to CID to question and record a statement from Anura Senanayake in this connection.
