Contradicting Ministers Confuse the Public

Justice Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe maintained  that  32 Srilankan Muslims from 4 families   had gone to Syria  to join IS, Health  Minister cum Cabinet Co spokesman  Dr. Rajitha Senaratne claimed  that it was not correct. He quoted  national intelligence bureau  report.

Subsequently ,  speaking with a local TV channel, Rajapakshe pointed out that contradictory statements can come from different members in government since the present government was a national government .

The government keeps on denying that there is a threat from the ISIS to Sri Lanka.

Contradicting  views  expressed by different Ministers on IS  is confusing the public.
