Work On Volkswagen Plant not in the Near Future

Education Mnister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam  announced  that  the work on the  Volkswagen  pant   factory will begin in December 2016. He made this announcement,  while   laying of the foundation stone for the Medical College at Kuliyapitiya.

In a meeting held in  Kurunegala, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said, that the work on the Volkswagen factory will begin in January next year.

He  said that the factory, along with another factory, will be constructed as the symbols of the economic development of the country.
