SLTB buses 6,100 Deployed to Defeat Bus Strike

Normally  , about 5,900 SLTB buses are deployed  daily .

But  today in addition 200 more  buses were put in service  to facilitate the passengers without curtailing any long distance and short distance bus services, Chairman of SLTB Ramal Siriwardhane said.

He said,   that a total of 6,100 SLTB buses  were deployed  today to defeat  ongoing private bus strike.

He further added that he has written to the IGP asking the police protection for the running SLTB buses. In addition, the police mobile services have also been deployed and the police protection will be provided to the night parking buses.
