Wijedasa Rajapakse is Not Suitable For Justice Portfolio – Chameera Perara

Collective of citizens’ organizations opposed  to governments  veil threat   to media  said, that  Justice Minister accused   Lanka e-news editor  and stated   he shall be got down and action could be taken  against him. He said it in the parliament. Politicians cannot foretell about the verdict to be delivered by the court. It is some kind of threaten to the judiciary, he added.

Just after two days of his speech in the parliament,  Gampaha Chief Magistrate issued the warrant for arrest of Lanka e-news editor. Hence,  Wijedasa Rajapakse is not suitable  for his position.

We do not need a justice minister who does not work for deliver justice for victims. Therefore , Government should sack him said Chameera Perera, co-convener of Left Circle at a press conference held at CSR in Colombo yesterday.
