Acceptance of bail for General Election begins

Acceptance of cash bail for the general elections held on August 17 began today. This bail money can be deposited at relevant Districtal Secretariats office or at the Presidential Secretariat office situated at Rajagiriya

Acceptance of nominations will be held from july 6th till 13th. Acceptance of postal votes will be held from July 3rd till 14th.

Meanwhile sources at the Election Commissioners office report that the Commissioner has issued a special letter to every registered political party.
