Withdrawn Divineguma Case Against Basil & Others Again Filed

 The case filed in High  Court  against former Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa and others  for allegedly misappropriating Divi Neguma funds amounting to 29 million rupees to publish almanacs to be distributed among voters during the period leading up to the 2015 Presidential Election was withdrawn by the Attorney General yesterday (6) on technical grounds and  suspects discharged.

Today  Attorney General has filed  fresh indictments in the High  Court  against Basil Rajapaksa and former Director of the Divi Neguma Department Kithsiri Ranawaka.
