Srilankan Forces with Modern weapons – Ranil

Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe said in Parliament yesterday, that all three forces of Srilanka will be built up with modern weapons and equipment suitable to current trend.
The authority to appoint a competent person to the Army Intelligent Division is given to the Army Commander. Appointment of a new officer in charge of the Army Intelligent Division is welcomed.

 No use of employing more officers to the intelligent unit.  Major General Mahesh Senanayake, who was chased out by Mahinda is now functioning as the Jaffna Commander. Forces were recognized and absorbed into the diplomatic services. Army training will be   provided to Army on higher standard acceptable in International basis.
