Chairman of the Elections Commission Disclaims Responsibility for Delay in Holding LG Election

Chairman of the Elections Commission Mahinda Deshapriya  said,  that the delay in holding  the Local Government election does not fall under the responsibilities of the Elections Commission.

He  said the Commission is ready to hold the election at any time after the necessary amendments are made in Parliament.
