Thirst For Knowledge at the Age of 73

Thirst for  knowledge has no age limits.   A 73-year-old woman sat for the Information Communication Technology (ICT) subject at the GCE (O/L) examination yesterday at Llma College, Matara. N.H.S.Kalyani, a retired CWE employee of Nadugala, Matara, who studied  ICT subject by  studying  pass papers without the assistances of the teacher , just to improve her knowledge.   N.H.S. Kalyanai  said, that she did not expect any job , but just studied in order to improve her knowledge.  Further she said, she wish  to sit for two more subjects including the Hindi language  at the same examination next  year.
