Magampura Port Employees Meets Minister of Ports

Followed by  partnership  agreement   signed with a  Chinese company  Hambantota Magampura Port  employees   demands   security of their employment and engaged in a sathyagraha, which continues  for the eight day today.

In the meantime the Minister of Port and Shipping Arjuna Ranatunga has agreed to hold discussions with the group of employees  involved in sathyakgraha.
The union convener for Magampura Port employees’ Chanaka Sampath said that five representatives from his union would participate in the discussion with the Minister this afternoon.  However, sathyagraha  at the port will continue
