Strike, Strike, Strike Now Midwives

The Kegalle midwives are compelled to fight for office space to work. Currently they are given accommodation in a stationery store, which disgraced them.

Sources said the midwives have withdrawn themselves from duties by applying for sick leave. They have launched a token strike demanding  a proper room at the MOH office premises, Midwives Association sources said.
