Interim Injunction Order Against liquidation of Rakna Lanka Extended

The Government of  Srilanka decided  to liquidate Rakna Araksha Lanka company.

The Avant Garde Maritime Services company has filed a case against this decision in the  Colombo District Court seeking interim injunction.

Avant Garde in their petition  claimed that there are agreements between the two companies and the liquidation of Rakna Lanka will cause losses to Avant Garde.

Having  considered the petition filed by Avant Garde,   the Colombo District Court has made and interim injunction order on 6^th December 2016 valid up to 16^th December 2016. When the case was taken up today the interim injunction order  has been extended to 30^th December 2016.
