Showery condition is expected to enhance to a certain extend (particularly in the Northern and Eastern parts of the country) today and tomorrow.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Northern, Eastern, Central, North-central and Uva provinces and in the Hambantota district.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere after 2.00p.m.

Fairly heavy falls (more than 75mm) can be expected at some places, particularly in the Northern, Eastern, Uva and Central provinces.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces during the morning.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
