To be a successful lawyer, you need to stock two potent weapons in your arsenal — spontaneous wit and powerful rhetoric. Akshay Kumar, in his avatar as a lawyer, displays both in good measure, in the trailer of Jolly LLB 2. We got an exclusive look at the neatly cut promo, a day before its official release. All we can say is, Jolly LLB 2 showcases a gamut of emotions from comedy to drama to tragedy. And lending it the commercial heft is the beautifully choreographed song and dance sequences.
The trailer starts with a courtroom scene that establishes humour as one of the highlights of the film. Akshay as Advocate Jolly in the course of his argument raises a question pertaining to one of Bollywood’s biggest superstars that has the entire courtroom in chuckles while judge Saurabh Shukla is beyond irritated. The trailer moves forward to give viewers a sense of what’s in store and also introduces other prime characters including Annu Kapoor, Kumud Mishra and leading lady Huma Qureshi.

On the performance front, Akshay is clearly leading the charge in the second instalment. Right from sporting a thick moustache to the well-oiled side parted hair, Akshay has got his looks spot on for the role. The actor is also be seen buttressing his legal arguments with rhetoric necessary to establish his case.

Directed by Subhash Kapoor who had helmed part one as well, the trailer of Jolly LLB 2 officially released on December 19. The film had Arshad Warsi playing the lead role in its original avatar. The film has been shot extensively in Lucknow and is again focussing on the ills that inflict our judicial system. The film will release on February 10.
