A light aircraft falls on school playground

 

An object believed to have been from a light aircraft has fallen on the M.D.H. Jayawardena Junior School play grounds at Thalangama today morning, police sources stated.

The  Civil Aviation Authority was informed of the object which appeared to be about two feet long and 1.5 feet wide and that there had been no reports of anyone being injured.

The police are conducting investigations.
