LPBOA Gemunu Adamant to Increase Semi Luxury Bus Fares

Chairman of the Lanka Private Bus Owners‘ Association Gemunu Wijeratne said, that  he has submitted  a proposal to increase  the bus fare of Semi  Luxury  buses operating  to the Ministry of Transport yesterday (20).  He said, that  500 buses are operating under the semi  luxury label.  But  the facilities available  in these  services are less than 75 % provided  in Semi  Luxury  bus services.

 He said, whether  the increase is approved or not they are going to adopt it  without  mentioning  the effective date.
