Transfer Award to a Police Officer who Arrested Ganja Smokers?

 

On a tip off received by Maththegoda police post, that a group of youths are involved in Kerala Ganja smoking in a house, police team led by Amila Sampath raided and arrested the youths. DIG’s son and son of a popular singer were among the arrested group of 7 youths. Ten grams of Ganja too recovered from them. They were produced before the Kesbwa Magistrate Court and released on bail.

Instead of appreciation he was awarded with the immediate transfer. All hail Good Governance.
