Showers or thunder showers will occur at times in the Northern, Eastern, North-central, North-western and Uva provinces.

Showers or thunder showers will occur at several places elsewhere after 2.00p.m.

Fairly heavy falls (more than 75mm) can be expected at some places, particularly in the Northern, Eastern, North-central, North-western and Uva provinces.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
