Dress Code To Enter Parliamentary Officer’s Rooms
Parliamentary administration has noticed that anyone entering rooms occupied by Government officers should be well dressed. If they wear half sleeve shirts they will not be allowed. Officers working in the Parliament and Government officers calling over at Parliament to participate in the meetings are being advised about this, said Deputy Sergeant at Arms Narendra Fernando.
There is a dress code for those who enters the Parliament on official business, but it is not observed in strict adherence , he said.
When women enter the special rooms of officers they should wear saree and long sleeve blouses. If men do not have National dress , they should wear full sleeve shirts . This noticed has been displaced to educate officers on dress code.
