Will Vimukthi Enter Politics?

Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga said to have met senior SLFP members in Gampaha District and discussed about introducing her son Vimukthi into Srilankan politics. As the first step she proposed to nominate him for forthcoming election. This was discussed in a meeting held in Gampaha with Horogolla SLFP members.

As no one is available to lead the SLFP in future, she reported to have made this proposal.
