Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Eastern, Uva, Northern, North-central, and Central provinces and in Hambantota district.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere after 2.00pm.

Fairly heavy falls (more than 50mm) and fairly strong winds can be expected at some places (particularly in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Uva and southern provinces).

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
