Limiting Paddy Issue to Large Scale Rice Mill Owners to Prevent Artificial Shortage

 Chairman of the Paddy Marketing Board MB Dissanayake said,  the government has  taken  a decision to stabilize the small and medium scale rice mill owners.

He  said certain rice mill owners are attempting to create a paddy shortage by purchasing large stocks of  Paddy Marketing Board .

 Hence ,  the  Government has decided to limit the stock of paddy provided to large-scale rice mill owners when issuing Paddy Marketing Board  paddy  stocks of paddy to the market.
