Weather Forecast For 30th December 2016

North-East monsoonal conditions are gradually establishing over the country.

Several spells of light showers will occur in the Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Hambantota district.

Showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Southern, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces after 2.00pm.

Fairly strong winds can be expected at some places, particularly in the Western, Central and Uva provinces.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
