Forcing Private Sector to Pay Rs 2500 Salary Increase to Employees

In the budget  Rs 2,500   salary increase  to privet sector employees was mentioned and approved.  Minister W.D.J Senevirathne requested  the private sector to pay the salary increase . But  it has not been  paid by all private xsector institutions. Already  400 complaints   have been received  in this connection

If any employer fails to do this stern legal action will be taken against them. The Ministry of Labour has already appointed a committee to look into this matter.
