Ceylon Tobacco Company Announces Lay off 20% Staff

 The  Ceylon Tobacco Company has   Announced that  it was compelled  to lay off  20% of the staff mainly due to  drop  in sales and  closure of   four storage facilities.

It  is relevant to mention   here  that the government has   increased  tax  on tobacco  products  and  increase  in  price of cigarette.
