Shashi Welgama Further Remanded

Former Chairman of the Sri Lanka Transport Board Shashi Welgama arrested and remanded in connection with  alleged misappropriation of 125 million rupees in state funds for the purchase of equipment for the SLTB.

He was produced before Court once again today.

The case was taken up for hearing before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court  and further remanded till  19^th January  2017.
