Mullaitivu Judge Ordered Army to Submit Full List of LTTE Cadres….

Fourteen  habeas corpus cases filed by them in the Mullaitivu Court  in respect of  400 LTTE cadres who had surrendered to the Army during the final phase of the war and disappeared  thereafter.

Major General S. Gunawardane, who was present in Court, had on an earlier date said the Army was in possession of the names of those who surrendered to the Army. But,  yesterday he reported to have  told the court  that  he dosen’ t have  the list of  LTTE cadres who surrendered.

Mullaitivu District Judge M.S.M. Samsudeen yesterday(4) ordered the Army to submit to Court by 30 January, the complete list of names of LTTE cadres,  who surrendered to the Army during the final phase of the war.

District Judge Samsudeen then ordered the Army to furnish the said list to Court by 30 January.
