Tension in Southern Provincial Council

When the Provincial Council sittings commenced today, Joint Opposition councillors raised the question of releasing 15,000 acres of land in Hambantota.   Followed by this tension developed in the council. Governing Party assured that steps will be taken against demonstrators who violated law and order during Hambantota protest.
