UPFA MP Shantha Bandara raised the question why President Maithripala Sirisena was not invited for the important function of opening a vocational training center in Hambantota ? He said, the President has told him that he was not invited .
We need factories, but it should not affect the environment . We have Chinese factories in Srilanka. If it is harmful to the environment we will remove it. If construction of any factory was refused by any foreign country , we don’t need such factory in Srilanka. We have to look into this, when we accept factories from foreign countries. Just because someone is giving we cannot accept it blindly. He regretted for the unpleasant incident that took place in Hambantota.
He revealed this in a press conference held yesterday.
