Ratnasiri’s Official Residence to Sampanthan

One-and-a-half-years after being appointed the Leader of the Opposition in Parliament, R. Sampanthan will receive his official residence.

The official residence that had been occupied by former Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake will be handed over to Sampanthan in the next two days,  Minister of Public Administration Ranjith Madduma Bandara said.

He said that this house is being provided to the Opposition Leader by the Ministry of Public Administration, on the instructions of President Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and Speaker Karu Jayasuriya.
