Respect to Other Religions

Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinge was the chief guest to release an English book on Mahawamsa in Galle. Foreign  dignitaries,   leading  Buddhist monks and  diplomats participated in this book releasing function . While Prime Minister Ranil  Wickramasinghe was delivering a speech,  ”Athan” was recited   during prayer  from a nearby Mosque . Prime Minister stopped his speech  and waited till ‘’Athan’’  reciting was over and continued  with his speech thereafter . Those who gathered their appreciated  the Good example  shown by the Prime Minister Ranil .
