Akila Viraj Kariyawasam on Changing Education System in Srilanka

Speaking at an event held in Kandy yesterday, Minister of Education Akila Viraj  Kariyawasam said,  80 per cent of jobs in Sri Lanka will not exist within the next 15 to 25 years.

He said some jobs will be unheard of, while most jobs will be online jobs.

Minister Kariyawasam said Sri Lanka has to be ready to face such changes.

Hence, present education system should be changed to avoid future challenges,   said  Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam
