Finance Ministry Did not Employ Arjuna Mahendran

 There were reports  in  some websites  that former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran was employed in  the Finance Ministry.

The Finance Ministry, in a statement released yesterday (24), denied reports  of such employment. ‘The Finance Ministry denies media reports that Mahendran currently acts as an advisor to the Ministry of Finance on the Central Bank.’

The Ministry of Finance wishes to informed  that Arjuna Mahendran, the former Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, is not working in any capacity at the Ministry of Finance.
