Case Against Duminda Silva Postponed
Former MP Duminda Silva was sentenced to death in the murder case of Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra and he is in the death row. Three cases were filed against him for non declaration of assets and liabilities for few years.
One of these cases was taken for inquiry today before Colombo Additional Magistrate Aruni Attigala .
However, due to medical reason, Duminda Silva was not produced in the court today.
The Magistrate has ordered prison authorities to produce Duminda Silva before the court on 13th February 2017 along with the medical reports on the former parliamentarian condition.
