Interdiction of 2 Vice Principals & 6 Education Officers on Irregular 40 Royal College Grade 1 Admission

On complaints  received by the Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam from Ceylon Teachers Union and Parents Associations, an inquiry was ordered. The inquiry panel has submitted its report to the Minister. The report  confirmed that 40 students  were admitted  to grade 1   in Royal College  outside  laid down  procedures . Based on the findings of the report  eight education officers were interdicted, which includes  two Vice Principals and teachers who served in Main  Interview Board , and Complaint reviewing Committee.
