Weather Forecast For 31st January 2017

Prevailing showery condition is expected to gradually reduce from today (31^stJanuary). Colder nights and mornings are likely in the Northern half of the island during next few days.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Sabaragamuwa, Central, Western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts after 2.00 pm.

Light showers will occur in the coastal area of the Eastern province and Hambantota district.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
