Speaking at the Bodu Jana Peramuna’s (BJP) inaugural press conference at the Bodu Bala Sena Headquarters in Kirulapone yesterday BJP Leader Ven Galagodaaththe Ghanasara Thera said every political leader who governed the country should be responsible for the present political instability of the country. Mahinda Rajapaksa, Ranil Wickremesinghe, Chandrika Bandaranaike and Maithripala Sirisena should also be included in the list.
The Thera further requested the Three Forces personnel to be alert regarding the country’s security. The duty of the Security Forces is to protect the country and not any particular government.
The Thera emphasized that the motives of politicians such as Rishard Bathiudeen and Rauff Hakeem should be understood by the public. They plan to have the best of both worlds.
BJP National Organizer Ven.Vitharandeniye Nanda Thera will contest as the group leader of the Colombo District while Vijitha Rohana Vijemunige will contest as the group leader of the Gampaha district.
The BJP expects to contest in 15 districts including Colombo, Gampaha, Kandy, Kalutara, Kurunegala and Vavunia.
BJP National Organizer Ven Vitharandeniye Nanda Thera and BBS Executive Director Dilantha Vithana were also present.
