Navam Perahera & Special Traffic Plan

Navam Perahera of Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Temple in Colombo is scheduled to be held today (9). The Perahera will commence from Sir James Pieris Mawatha and travel through Sri Jinarathana Road, Uttarananda Mawatha and return to the Temple through Nawam Mawatha.

A special traffic plan is  introduced   from 5.00pm today . Accordingly  Police urged drivers to use alternate routes to minimize traffic.

Alternate routes are Dharmapala Mawatha, Union Place, Justice Akbar Mawatha and Galle road.
