Latest Development in Tamil Naadu Power Struggle

While Sasikala alleged to have bundled and abducted 120 MLAs and kept them captives in an undisclosed place, one of the MLAs , who escaped approached  O. Pannerselvam and explained the plight of poor MLAs in her custody. Pannerselvam in turn has taken him to the Governor of Tamil Naadu and informed him in writing about their pathetic situation. Their telephones were removed, they were not allowed to watch TV or listen Radio news. Signatures obtained from them on blank papers under force. Twenty of them have commenced a fast unto death campaign. He has indicated the probable place where they were kept. Copy of his letter was submitted to the Supreme Court today. Paneerselvam requested the Governor to permit him to withdraw the resignation letter obtained from him under duress and grant time to prove his majority in the Assembly. On the other hand Sasikala submitted a letter to the Governor to invite her to establish the State Assembly as she has support of 130 MLAs.

Governor has now summoned the DGP to check and report the where about of those MLAs, who are missing during last few days. Entire Tamil Naadu people are waiting for Governor’s decision.
