A 37-year-old man was shot dead at Sirisethgama in Kotawehera this evening . The body, of the victim identified as Janaka Priyantha, was found by his family on the road leading to his home.

Kotawehera Police have arrested a 43-year-old man from the area on suspicion and seized his pistol, which the police suspect to have been used in the killing.
