China Tells India to Stay Off Srilanka?

China and Srilanka relations have been fostered and date back to six decades. Srilanka and the people republic of China accorded each other diplomatic recognition in 1950. The two countries have regularly exchanged high level visits resulting in a variety of agreements.  China has helped Srilanka in the following developments projects:

Hambantota port development, Nuraicholai coal power plant, Mattala International Airport, Katunayake Airport expressway, Moragahagakanda irrigation development, Nelum Pokuna(Lotus Pond) and NICD Mahinda Rajapakshe Theatre. In short China has provided economic, military and technical assistants to Srilanka.

After claiming South China Sea to be its own, telling America to stay off its Islands, China is reaching for the Indian Ocean, telling India to stay off its own colony, Srilanka.

Srilanka colonisation began back in 2007 when China supplied both military and diplomatic support   to crush the Tamil tigers to Mahinda Rajapakshe.
