Time Granted to File Objections in Wimal’s Bail Application..

The Police Financial Crimes Investigations Division arrested Parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa on the 10th of January in connection with irregularities  and misuse of  state vehicles   reported at the State Engineering Cooperation, during the tenure of Mahinda  Rajapaksha.  He was  in remand prison.  Today the Colombo High Court Judge  Ordered  to further remand him until the 20th of this month.

The Colombo High Court Judge Vikum Kaluaarachchi today(13) ordered the Attorney General and respondents cited in the bail application to file objections, against his bail application on or before the 27th of February.
