Senior Ministry Secretaries Request President not to Extent the Services of Ministry Secretaries beyond 60 years…

Some Senior Ministry Secretaries   have  written to the President  requesting  not to  extend the services of Ministry Secretaries  beyond  the age of  60 years,  as  it will block  promotional  prospects  of other  Senior  Assistance Secretaries in waiting list .  Their letter further states  that while  a number of   qualified  SLAS officers  are in  the pool ,  recruiting  Secretaries  to the Ministries  from outside  hurt SLAS officers  and  under mines  their position .  Hence,  request was made  to consider SLAS officers  in the pool when appointing  Secretaries  in  Ministries in the future.
