Small & Medium Scale Rice Mill Owners Association to Ensure Rice at Control Price

The Small and Medium Scale Rice Mill Owners Association’s  Chairman Nishantha Attanayake  has requested the Paddy Marketing Board to release 67,000 metric tonnes of paddy in its possession  to small and medium scale rice mill owners.

Following a discussion held with Minister of Finance Ravi Karunanayake, he said, that they will work alongside the government to provide rice to the public at the control price.
