Vehicle Procession Protest by IUSF Against SAITM

Inter University Students’ Federation (IUSF)  has organized  a Vehicle Procession protest beginning from various parts of the country and  ending up in  Colombo.  All university students are poised to participate in this procession. Procession scheduled for three days.

Accordingly,  vehicle procession commenced today  from  Kandy, Karapittiya, Kulliyapity , Anudradhapura and Ratnapura .  These vehicle processions  are heading towards  Colombo.  They are scheduled to meet in Colombo on 17^th and stage  a demonstration.  This vehicle processions protest was to  register their protest against recognizing SAITM and to protect free education in Srilanka  said,  Inter University Students’ Federation (IUSF) convenor  Lahiru Weeresegara  in a press meeting held yesterday.
