Traffic Offence Rs 25,000 Fines Talk Ended up in Failure

The President has appointed a  committee  to review Rs 25,000 fine  imposed for  certain traffic offences.  Private Bus Operators Union met yesterday  to discuss about this matter. The committee has presented  the proposed  fine list to the Bus Operators Unions. Secretary of the Union Anjana Indrajith said, that they totally reject it. Hence,  the talk came to an abrupt end.

However, Bus Operators Unions  were asked  to  submit their observations within two weeks.
