UNHCR Commissioner Needs US$ 648,000 to Operate in Srilanka

Normally US$ 107.56 million is allocated to the annually to the   UNHCR office  to carry out its operation.  Due to the increased  activities in respect of Human Rights protection , special reporters   travelling , accommodation, etc, additional US$ 252. 9 million is required .  Accordingly  to operate  in  Srilanka to implement UNHCR decision US$648,000 is required said, UNHCR office, Hence,   Commissioner made a request to the member countries to make generous  contributions and donations.
