Rishad on Salambakulam Garbage Removal

Garbage dumping continued at Puthiya Saalambakulam , Vavuniya for last  15 years.  This was brought to the notice of the MP Vavuniya cum Minister of  Industry and Commerce , Raishard Bathiudeen .

The minister recently inspected the venue, where the pile of garbage is placed which has caused many health hazards to the people and the University students in that area.  According to the minister, the Ministry of Provincial Council and Local Government has allocated Rs. 200 million to begin a recycling project in a 10 acre uninhabited land owned by the government.

He has ordered to prepare a plan to remove the pile of garbage  before the end of this year, the minister said.
